Your adventure
awaits
Surfing. Volcanoes. Dirt bikes. Crystal lakes. El Salvador has it all—and it's all within reach from La Paz.
Surfing
El Salvador is known among surfers for its consistent, uncrowded waves. We're just minutes from some of the best breaks in Central America—from beginner-friendly beach breaks to powerful point breaks.
Never surfed before? No problem. We can set you up with lessons from local instructors who've been riding these waves their whole lives. Boards and gear can be rented right at the beach.
Volcano Hikes
The Santa Ana Volcano (Ilamatepec) is the highest volcano in El Salvador—and one of the most spectacular hikes in Central America. The crater lake at the summit is a surreal turquoise that you have to see to believe.
We organize guided sunrise hikes that start early (really early) so you can watch the sun rise from the rim. It's challenging but absolutely worth it. About 45 minutes from La Paz.

Dirt Bike Tours
Want to explore off the beaten path? Our dirt bike tours take you through jungle trails, coffee plantations, and mountain villages that most tourists never see. From mellow scenic rides to gnarly single-track—we've got routes for every skill level.
All tours include a local guide who knows every hidden waterfall and back road. Bikes, helmets, and gear provided. No experience necessary for beginner routes.
Crystal Lakes
Lake Coatepeque is one of Central America's most beautiful crater lakes—crystal-clear water surrounded by volcanic hills. Perfect for swimming, kayaking, or just floating and taking it all in.
We can arrange day trips that combine the lake with visits to nearby villages, coffee farms, or the Tazumal ruins. It's about 40 minutes from La Paz.
