A small resort with
big dreams
La Paz started with a simple idea: create a place where adventurers can experience the real El Salvador—world-class waves, volcanic landscapes, and genuine hospitality.
From a dream to your
escape
We're not hoteliers. We're surfers, hikers, and dreamers who fell head over heels for El Salvador and wanted to share it with the world.
La Paz was born from countless sunset sessions, bonfire conversations, and a belief that travel should feel personal, not packaged. We wanted to create a place where guests wake up excited—whether they're catching dawn patrol or hiking to a volcanic crater.
Today, we're still that same small operation. We know our guests by name, we share meals together, and we never stop finding new trails to explore.
Our values
Personal Connection
With just 4 accommodations, we have the luxury of getting to know every guest. Your adventure is personal to us.
Eco-Conscious
Solar power, rainwater harvesting, local sourcing. We believe great adventures shouldn't cost the earth.
Local Roots
We work with local guides, source from local farmers, and give back to the community that makes this place special.
Authentic Experience
No tourist traps, no cookie-cutter tours. We share the El Salvador we know and love—the real one.
How we got here
The Dream Begins
Two surfers fell in love with El Salvador and started imagining a different kind of retreat.
First Domes Rise
Our first geodesic domes were erected on a beautiful piece of land near the coast.
Doors Open
We welcomed our first guests and never looked back. Word spread, bookings grew.
Growing Family
Expanded to 4 accommodations while keeping our intimate, personal touch intact.
Why El Salvador?
El Salvador is Central America's best-kept secret. Consistent world-class surf, towering volcanoes, crater lakes, and some of the warmest people you'll ever meet—all in a compact country that's easy to explore.
